DESIGN MADE IN ITALY
Transforming sports passion into apparel collections
For over two decades VIST has been transforming a passion for sports into apparel collections with a pure Italian and fashion design at the core of every product. The combination of highest quality fabrics, cuts designed to enhance the skier’s movements, and vibrant, exciting colors create a unique garment that is both comfortable and ideal for skiing. Every garment by VIST is clean, lively and designed with optimal performance in mind.
VIST’s continuous innovation in materials and garment design help to regulate body temperature and perspiration so skiers can perform at optimal capacity. Additionally, product construction and the use of two-way stretch fabric ensures freedom of movement on the slopes. VIST products also endure strict quality programs and testing processes to ensure top performance, fit and functionality.
VIST garments are breathable for even the most intense skiers, while also protecting skiers from the wind and harsh elements found on the slopes. VIST chooses the components of the laminated material based on weather conditions. For cold, dry environments, VIST uses water-resistant materials with a breathable windproof coating.
Alternatively, for wet and mild conditions, VIST creates a seam-sealed garment construction and waterproof materials with a durable water- repellent treatment.
VIST was born in the heart of Dolomites, Italy, from an idea of Roberto Vivian and Elmar Stimpfl as a manufacturer of high-performance binding plates for the professional ski race sector and gained international fame thanks to the first victories of athletes using VIST plates at the Nagano Olympic Games.
In 2003 VIST acquired the binding business branch from Benetton and opened a new headquarters in Caldaro (BOLZANO). VIST expanded from exclusively producing plates to launching VIST bindings and manufacturing complete systems. In 2004 it became the official apparel supplier for the National British ski team.
In 2006 VIST launched the brand new apparel, SNOW LEOPARD, inspired by Ghanese athlete Kwame Nkrumah-Acheampong. VIST participated in the Turin 2006 Olympic Games as the official supplier for the apparel of the Czech team. In 2007 the Czech skier Sarka Zahrobska, sponsored by VIST, became the world champion of slalom at Are.
In 2017 VIST celebrated its 20-year-anniversary by launching Ventinverni collection. In 2018 it launched the golf and beachwear capsule summer collections under the brand Aurum Milano. In 2019 the company became an official outfitter of the Saslong FIS World Cup in Val Gardena, Dolomites.
In 2021 Vist developed cobranding cooperation with FILA China and launched the cobranding collection FILA VIST. VIST is honored to be an official winter kit supplier of Olympic and Paralympic teams at Beijing-2022. In 2022 VIST is developing a new winter collection 2022/23 and continues the special collaboration with FILA China in 2022 and 2023.
