Zermatt, Switzerland
Zermatt offers the highest summer skiing area in Europe on the Theodul Glacier, with 21 km of pistes available for summer skiing. The best time for skiing is around May to early November. In order to access the glacier a 40 minute Gondola ride is available to the Klein Matterhorn where you will find breathtaking views and terrain to ski on. Zermatt also offers a range of activities for mountain lovers ranging from hiking to mountain biking.
Cervinia, Italy
If you are looking for a great summer ski destination in Italy, Plateau Rosa Glacier located in the Aosta Valley of northwestern Italy Situated at 3,500 meters. This glacier provides excellent summer skiing conditions with approximately 25 kilometers of skiable terrain during the summer. Hintertux Glacier is easily accessible from the Zillertal Valley. Visitors can take lifts and gondolas to reach the skiing destination. It is a popular destination for summer skiing enthusiasts where the season typically runs from late April to early July.
