British Skeleton

Following the reintroduction of Skeleton into the Winter Olympics cycle in 2002, British Skeleton has proven its dominance, securing medals at every subsequent Olympics. From bronze and silver medals in Salt Lake City 2002 and Turin 2006, to triumphant golds at Vancouver-2010, Sochi-2014, and PyeongChang-2018, team Great Britain has soared to new heights.

Notably, Amy Williams claimed the Olympic title in Vancouver 2010, while Lizzy Yarnold made history as the first British athlete to win two Winter Olympic gold medals, triumphing in Sochi 2014 and PyeongChang 2018. Yarnold's second gold was accompanied by bronze medals from Laura Deas and Dom Parsons in PyeongChang, marking a historic hat-trick for British Skeleton. Matt Weston's dreams came true as he slid to Britain's first skeleton World Championship gold in eight years, adding to the remarkable achievements of British Skeleton.

British skeleton is a shining example of VIST's core values - celebrating uniqueness and pushing the boundaries of performance. As a nation without natural snow, Great Britain's ability to strive and dominate in winter sports exemplifies the power of embracing individuality and pushing boundaries, just like VIST's dedication to redefining winter sports through our unique blend of Italian excellence, avant-garde fashion, and function.

“British skeleton is proud to work closely with VIST - a company that shares our values and echoes our determination to be the very best we can be. The quality of VIST products is outstanding and that plays a major part in enabling us to perform to such a high standard on the world stage. The customer service we have received from VIST is exemplary and it is a pleasure to have them as part of the team." - Marc Heywood, Director of Operations, BBSA.
