VIST’s bindings comply with national and international standards (DIN/ISO 9465, DIN/ISO 9462) and are certified by independent certification bodies.

VIST’s bindings can be customized: thanks to the PINs of the SpeedLock system and interchangeable components in a wide variety of colors and shapes, one can create the most suitable combination according to taste and needs, to match in color with the rest of the equipment.

SP X-KEY JOINT – SPORT PERFORMANCE
X-KEY Joint is an exclusive toe clamp system, which by means of two metal pivot joints, is sensitive to every movement, guaranteeing immediate release for all kinds of falls.
4 RSS – 4 ROLLER SAFETY SYSTEM
Between the binding and the boot, the lateral friction is reduced to a minimum thanks to the intelligent use of 2+2 mini rollers.
DIR – DYNAMIC INTELLIGENT RELEASE
An innovative technology: in situations of falling or twisting, knees and limbs suffer less pressure and are consequently more secure.
AFD – ANTI FRICTION DEVICE
In VIST bindings, force transmission is optimized thanks to a larger contact surface for the toe of the boot via an interchangeable Teflon insert. The use of Teflon also guarantees minimum resistance and maximum security during release.
X-KEY JOINT – PRO ATHLETE / PERFORMANCE
Three metal pivot are sensitive to every movement and guarantee immediate release for all kinds of falls. The applied materials ensure correspondence to DIN standards for greater durability.
TSC – TWIN SPRING CONTROL
TSC Technology assures maximum security in every direction during boot release, simultaneously guaranteeing an elevated grade of precision and performance. The second/omega spring guarantees gradual control of vertical movement, cushioning impact in the event of a backwards fall.
VB – VERTICAL BLOCK
Thanks to the use of rubber inserts, VIST bindings guarantee an optimal vertical retention, which is particularly necessary for athletes and competitive skiers.
APT – ADVANCED PIN TECHNOLOGY
Anchor a binding to the plate quickly by means of special pins (without the use of screws).
ASA – AUTO SOLE ADJUSTMENT
A spring positioned behind the binding permits it’s automatic adaptation to height of the boot’s sole, ensuring constant contact.

Interchangeability of certain components of the binding allows the skier the possibility to personalize their binding based on their individual taste and needs.

Heel

monocam

One-piece heel lever made of plastic material. With a fairly good grip, it ensures good performance for basic bindings up to a maximum of 10 DIN. Allows a safe grip of the boot even with a snow depth of up to 4-5 mm.

twincam

Two-piece heel lever made of steel, ensuring high stability and locking of the boot. Excellent grip and performance for bindings with adjustments up to 12 DIN. Allows a safe grip of the boot even with a snow depth of up to 5-6 mm.

These plates are 100% created, designed, developed and made in Italy.

VIST, thanks to the targeted investments in research and development and winning choices in terms of production quality and flexibility, is able to emerge and dominate the global production in the decade from 1997 to 2007 and became a strategic supplier of plates in the World Cup.

Plates remain a distinctive product of VIST TECH, the company established in 2011 as a spin-off of VIST, specialized in the production of ski plates, bindings and combined systems

V-TECH SYSTEM
The concentration of forces exerted by the skier onto the midpoint amplifies the responsiveness, stability and strength of the ski at the end of a curve. A great GRIP sensation at the middle of the ski.ne curva.
ANCHORAGE
Correspondence between the toe, boot and heel due to the fastening screws holding the plate to the ski, achieving direct force transmission. Direct reception of forces from the ground, allowing the athlete to adapt instantly to any situation. VIST’s PATENTED SYSTEM.
SLITTING EFFECT
THREE layers of adhesive between the plate and the ski. While the top and bottom layers remain “static”, the middle layer, considered “dynamic”, boosts the elasticity of the ski, allowing a quicker rebound at the end of a curve.
SCHLEUDER-EFFEKT
Eine spezielle, dreifache Leimschicht zwischen Platte und Ski. Die obere und untere Schicht sind “statisch”, die mittlere gilt indessen als “dynamisch”. Die Mittelschicht verbessert die Elastizität des Skis, so dass eine schnellere Rückfederung am Ende der Kurve möglich wird.

The increased height from the ground enables the skier to better tackle the new sidecut with very wide tip, in full respect of the limits established by the FIS.

Plates are fundamental components at every level, as they guarantee maximum performance and force transfer for every type of skiing.

Allows the ski to take a more natural and linear curvature. Distributes force gradually along the entire ski and is therefore less aggressive. Lets even robust and capable skiers use “soft” skis.
ANCHORAGE
Fixed only in the toe-area of the binding. Free-sliding by the heel, thanks to the slotted fastening system. Greater concentration of force onto the front of the ski. Enter into curves quicker and with more precision.
DISTRIBUTION OF POWER
Across the whole plate, front and back, and only from one point, the fastening. Stability and precision. Greater absorption of vibrations.
EVEN SKI TRIM
The distance between the toe and the heel of the plate always remains the same, preventing unwanted release in extreme situations.

PYRAMID SIDEWALLS
The pyramid sidewalls of ski affect the easy turn initiation, as well as stable ride on and off the track. A long sidecut radius makes the ski extremely reliable at high speed and ride ahead. Thanks to Trapezium Shape, a ski’s “snaking” – known from carving skis, as well as vibrations on the shovels and tails have been totally eliminated.
SNOWBREAKER TRIP
The new geometrical shape of the Snowbreaker tip enables the skier to control the ski’s behaviour according to his or her own needs. Its squared shape and progressive convergence angle make it possible, in fact, to considerably improve – with an increasing edge-grip of the ski – precision upon entering a turn, also thanks to the advanced position of the boots angle. The more aggressive the skiing, the more aggressive the ski becomes.
DYNAMIC RADIUS
The “dynamic radius” concept indicates the ski’s capability of closing a turn through the movements of the skier and was conceived to overcome the low reliability of the turn radius usually indicated.
APS CORE TECHNOLOGY (ADDED PRE STRESS)
During the process of forming page fibres are permanently stretched into wavy form, thus storing the energy in ski’s core. In the end we achieve the effect of comfortable yet dynamic ski with optimally fitted stiffness, which is nice to ride and grips on the edge perfectly, due to longitudinal twisting.

Design and
performance

Skis with an extraordinary and sophisticated design are the result of a mix of typically Italian stylishness and elegance.

The materials are accurately assembled by hand in the traditional manner of the sandwich system or semicap, a layer at the time.

Approximately 400 manual movements for 6 hours are necessary to manufacture a VIST ski, the result of intense and constant research even in fields not related to the world of skis such as the field of aviation and cars

These systems allow an individual adjustment (not synch) of the toe and heel.

BPA - BALANCE POINT ADJUSTMENT
It is possible to quickly personalize the binding’s mounting point on the plate according to the individual’s need (speed, race, powder, freeride) in order to find the best position for skiing at maximum level.

Forwards Setup: allows precise and enjoyable skiing with less expenditure of forces.
Backwards Setup: stabilizes the ski, and even allows use at high speeds (freeride).

APT - ADVANCED PIN TECHNOLOGY
The bindings with SpeedLock technology, as a basis, feature steel PIN, which substitute traditional screws and allow quick anchoring to the binding without the use of a screwdriver.

TLC - TWIN LEVER CONTROL
It is a system composed of two levers; the first to close and open the mechanism and the other to keep it firmly closed, preenting accidental opening. This technology, furthermore, can also be used as an “antitheft” mechanism, in fact, it is sufficient enough to unfasten the toe cap from the skis to quietly enjoy a hot chocolate in the lodge.

STEP C - STEP CONCEPT
With a simple lift of the toe, it is possible to modify the trim on the skis, drawing many advantages. Thanks to this device, the plate transmits the load and pressure of the athlete on the ski more quickly, facilitating the first phase of a curve. The Step Concept system allows more natural, more convenient and more relaxed skiing with much less energy expenditure.

The toe and the heel can be slid and fixed in to the most ideal position with the rail system. This system is intended for QuickLock, patent-protected and is distinguished by its lightness and the ability to adjust the binding’0s position in little to no time.

It is possible to quickly and practically modify the binding, in order to adapt it to different boot sizes (from 260 mm to 360 mm), thanks to the latching mechanisms.
